Samuel J. Durham, M.D., FACS, FACC

Dr. Durham received his BA from Emory University in Atlanta. He spent
a year at St. Andrews University, Scotland and then went to Harvard Medical
School in Boston. After graduating from Harvard he trained in General
Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh.
Upon completion of specialized
training in Cardiothoracic Surgery, he moved to Toledo. There he became Associate
Professor of Surgery and Chief of the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the
University of Toledo, and President of Advanced Cardiothoracic Surgeons of Northwest
Ohio, a private practice surgical group. He worked for 16 years in Toledo.
Dr. Durham is board certified by The
American Board of Surgery and The American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He is also
a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons and the American College of Cardiology.
He joined our practice in 2009.
